Anglesea, Aires Inlet to Fairhaven

Anglesea was established in 1884 and was named Anglesea River and in 1950 it was renamed Anglesea .
Aires Inlet was named after J. Airey who settled the area in 1842.
The Great Ocean Road closely follows the ocean from Anglesea, through Aires Inlet to Fairhaven.
Anglesea hosts the world famous Great Ocean Road 
Golf Course with a mob of 300 kangeroos grazing on the fairways.
Anglesea has a population of approximately 2500
Anglesea has a small but adequate shopping centre and fuel is available.
Anglesea has a surf beach that is patrolled by Anglesea Surf Lifesaving Club.
Aires Inlet is located on the Great Ocean Road 10 kilometres from Anglesea and Fairhaven is 3 kilometres past Aires Inlet on the Great Ocean Road.
The Spit Point lighthouse is located at Aires Inlet and is a must see on any trip down the Great Ocean Road.
Aires Inlet hosts the Bark Hut historic museum.
Turn off from Aires Inlet to go to the Angahook Park part of the Great Otway National Park.
Aires inlet has a small shopping centre and fuel is available.
Aires Inlet has a population of approximately 1300 people.
Fairhaven has a surf Beach patrolled by Fairhaven Surf Lifesaving Club.
The Great Ocean Road Memorial Arch is located on the Great Ocean Road a few kilometres on the Lorne side of Fairhaven.
Fairhaven is host to some amazing houses.
The Otway Ranges start near Anglesea.
